The Red Witch Chronicles Chronological Reading Order Here

About the Author

Sami Valentine is an urban fantasy writer who grew up in the desert and now wanders in search of wifi and coffee.

Formerly a mild-mannered librarian, she had a quarter-life crisis and shook everything up. She started working in an LGBT homeless center, shaved some of her head, and got really into tarot. After realizing that her goal in life was to get out of her small town and she only made it 30 minutes up the highway, she filled a bag and left. That was a few years and a dozen countries ago.

She writes the Red Witch Chronicles.

Series Starter Promo - A Witch Called Red

Book 1 Blurb:

"Like the Vampire Diaries had a love child with the show Supernatural."

In the dark underworld, she is known as Red, a witch trained as a supernatural bounty hunter, where she came from is a mystery.

When a murdered model washes up on a beach, Red knows the bite marks on the victim can mean only one thing. Teaming up with Lucas, a punk rock vampire with a soul, Red goes to Los Angeles to investigate.

She interrogates undead mogul Kristoff who seems to know her better than herself. Sexy and dangerous, he is more than her main suspect, he might be the key to the truth of her mysterious origins.

As the death count grows, Red sinks into a vampire conspiracy as the city teeters on the brink of civil war.

Red needs to keep her wits sharp. And her stake sharper. Or she'll die before she even learns her real name…

A Witch Called Red is the first book of the Red Witch Chronicles, a gritty urban fantasy series containing magic, complicated characters, paranormal adventure, and vampire mayhem along with swearing, violence, and sexual situations. If you liked the snark of the Hollows series, the thrilling action of the Mercy Thompson series, and the dark fantasy world-building of the Kate Daniels series, then this is for you!
